Dr. Haydeé Lavariega
Padiux! My name is Haydeé Lavariega. I'm an Indigenous person of Bene Xhon Zapotec lineages born in Oaxaca, México. I move with a decolonial and liberatory approach that centers queer and trans folks, Black people, Indigenous people, migrants, and other people of color. I have 15 years of experience in facilitation, organizational development, structure, strategy, and succession planning.
As a sabbatical doula, I accompany groups and individuals preparing to begin a period of rest. I enjoy weaving my Indigenous values into my facilitation of dreaming, reflective practice, healing, planning for the phases of a sabbatical, and engaging with different forms of rest.
I feel most rested and alive near a body of water, trees, and the people I love. How about you?
